| Abstract | I shall briefly discuss strongly correlated systems, focusing specifically on the anisotropic Heisenberg model, and the detection of its phases, based on the recent article titled 'Harnessing spin-qubit decoherence to probe strongly interacting quantum systems' by Płodzień et al. (Phys. Rev. B 111, L161115; paper link: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/journals.aps.org/prb/pdf/10.1103/PhysRevB.111.L161115 ). In this article, the authors employ a single qubit to probe the many-body system and observe the dynamics of the qubit to characterize different parameters of the system.
