Exploring strongly interacting matter at high temperatures using lattice QCD

I will review recent progress in the study of hot strongly interacting matter
using lattice QCD. I will discuss results on the phase diagram, equation of state,
properties of mesons consisting of heavy quarks and the calculations of some
transport coefficients.
