An emergent 2HDM from Left-Right symmetry

I will discuss how an unconventional 2HDM may transpire as the
electroweak scale incarnation of left-right symmetry. I will also talk about
some new types of 2HDMs that can arise from such constructions. As these
models will have FCNCs at the tree level mediated by neutral scalars, I will
discuss the implications on the flavor data as well.
