Floer Theory

Sushmita Venugopalan

IMSc

Floer theory is an infinite dimensional version of Morse theory, that was developed to prove the Arnold's conjecture on symplectic manifolds. In this course, we set up the analytic foundations of the theory. A strong background in differential geometry and familiarity with Banach spaces is a prerequisite for the course.
