Threshold resummation of rapidity distribution for Higgs production at NNLO+NNLL

With the increasing accurate measurements of various observables at the Large Hadron Collider, precise theoretical predictions are of paramount importance which will help not only to understand
Standard Model better but also to constrain various observables beyond the SM scenarios. The inclusive production of colorless particles, as in Drell-Yan process and the Higgs production in the final state has been studied both in fixed order as well as in resummed frameworks. The perturbative predictions for differential observables like rapidity, transverse momentum are underway. In my talk, I will present our recent work on resummation of rapidity distributions for the Higgs production via gluon fusion. We provide an all order prediction for the resummed cross section in two dimensional Mellin space. We find significant reduction in scale uncertainties due to unphysical scales at NNLO + NNLL.
