Non-linear twists of Fourier coefficients of $GL(3)$-Maass forms.

Non-trivial bounds on sums of the form
$$\sigma_{N\leq n\leq 2N}a(n)e(\alpha n \beta ),$$
where $a(n)$ is an arithmetically defined sequence, have “nice”
consequences. In this talk, we will explain how to obtain non-trivial bounds
on the above sums when the sequence $a(n)$ is given by the Fourier
coefficients of $GL(3)$- Maass forms.
