CP violation in charged leptons and neutrinos

In this talk I will be covering two of our recent works where we focus on CP violation in charged leptons and neutrinos.
The BABAR collaboration has measured the decay rate asymmetry of tau to K Pi nu and have found a 2.8 standard deviations away from the Standard Model expectation. In this talk we will try to discuss how such a difference can be explained if we assume the presence of some non-standard tensor interaction.
Also, CP violation in neutrino oscillations does not have a one to one correlation with high energy CP violation, which is required to generate the Baryon Asymmetry of the Universe. But under some specific scenarios we try to correlate them. I will discuss one such scenario.
