The gauge/gravity duality conjecture connects the weakly coupled gravitational theories to strongly coupled field theories. Though there has been excellent progress in understanding this duality conjecture by studying the maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills in four spacetime dimensions, the lower-dimensional non-conformal analogs of the conjecture have been less explored. This talk will discuss the lattice studies of lower-dimensional theories. We will revisit some of the existing duality checks using lattice construction. I will present our lattice results for two-lower dimensional models, one is the bosonic version of the BMN matrix quantum mechanics, and the other is a two-dimensional Yang-Mills theory containing four supersymmetries. I will also discuss the numerical bootstrap method to solve matrix models numerically and will comment on how powerful but constrained this approach is.
