Probing First Stars and Epoch of Reionization with 21cm line

First stars in the universe are considered to have formed about 100 million years after the big bang. They are expected to be more massive than the stars in the current universe and lead to the formation of first black holes. Then, ultraviolet and X-ray emission from them ionized hydrogen gas in the inter-galactic space. This phenomenon is call the Epoch of Reionization and is a frontier of the current astrophysics. In this talk, I will review the theoretical understanding of these processes and observational strategy with 21cm line.
