Signatures of the $\tilde{R_2}$ leptoquark model at the future electron-proton collider

We explore the signatures of the $\tilde{R_2}$ class of leptoquark (LQ) models at the proposed ep colliders. We also discuss the effect of polarized electron and positron beams on LQ production. The presence of right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) results in a unique signature. In this model, the production cross-section of RHN is not suppressed, unlike the type-I seesaw scenario. We mainly discuss two signatures, lepton+jets and RHN+jets. We consider a light RHN and a heavy LQ, with RHN being long-lived and heavily boosted, resulting in a unique displaced fat jet signature. We show that the track-based variables are helpful in the identification of such displaced decays. Employing a positron beam further provides an order of magnitude enhancement in the signal sensitivity.
