A model for three dimensional fractionalised gapless states from stacking of quantum Hall liquids

I will talk about an effective three dimensional toy model obtained from stacking of certain quantum Hall states with both gapless and gapped fractionalised excitations. Based on parton construction description of fractional quantum Hall states, the model serves as a theoretical candidate state for the case when the interaction between the layers in this multilayer setting is neither weak nor strong. As such, it also serves as a cousin model to fractional topological insulators.
