Why LHC?

After introducing the matter fermions and gauge bosons of the Standard Model I shall discuss the high energy colliders leading up to LHC and their role in the discovery of thse standard model particles. Then I shall discuss Higgs mechanism and discovery of the Higgs boson and finally Supersymmetry and SUSY search at LHC.
