AIM
To share with research scholars some excitments in modern materials science from the
prespective of basic solid state physics and inform them about research opportunities.

PARTICIPATION
Ph.D students doing experimental research in solid state physics/materials science [SSP/MS] in
universities and colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Local hospitality and travel assistance will be provided by the orgnisers.

- Basic cocepts of solid state physics
- Current developments in SSP/MS Research
- Research and Experimental Opportunities at the DAE-IUC CRS, Indore and IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
One day visit to the Experimental Facilities at IGCAR, Kalpakkam.

There will be a poster session for participants to present their
proposed/progressing/completed research work.
Participants shall give a one minute presentation of the features of their posters ahead of the poster session.
Interested scholars have to register online. Registration is closed.
