I've finished my M.Sc. coursework at Matscience, and I am starting with the research phase of things with my PhD advisor, Sibasish Ghosh.
St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi
B.Sc. Physics (Hons) [2007 - 2010]
My undergraduate degree is in Physics. I attended St. Stephen's, a liberal arts college that's a great place to go to if one is looking for -- besides a degree in Physics (or for that matter, in Economics or Humanities or Mathematics) -- an environment where you have the freedom and the opportunity to indulge your impulses, creative or otherwise. More or less. During my time there, I taught evening classes in maths and science for underprivileged school kids in and around college. This was one of the many activities of the Social Service League. Together with a bunch of enthusiasts, I also brought out a few issues of a science newsletter, 'ASK', which we had started. And, of course, I whiled away hours sitting in the lawns, indulging in conversations, 'nimbu pani' (that's lemonade), maggi, 'mince', and scrambled egg. Oh, and I learnt enough physics to get into graduate school. You might enjoy watching an unofficial guide to college.
St. Thomas' College, Dehradun
ICSE 2005, ISC 2007 [2002-2007]
In the valley of Doon is nestled a small school, St. Thomas', that was established in 1916. I joined St. Thomas' in 2002, after moving to Dehradun from Lucknow. My time there was quite formative in many ways, academic and otherwise. By the time I left school, I had a fair idea I wanted to do physics in college.

This is where I pretty much started my schooling. Though before this I attended a school called St. Agnes Primary School in Almora, I never really finished a year there.
