In all these years working in Physics, some of the areas have
impressed me more than others. I work to have a better
understanding of these areas.
DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS
Nonlinear partial differential equations leading to
dynamics of spatially extended systems and pattern
formation, coherent structures arising due to
nonlinearity; solitons, dissipative solitons,
synchronization, etc.
NON-EQUILIBRIUM STATISTICAL MECHANICS
Stochastic processes, pattern formation out of
equilibrium, phase transitions, etc.
CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS
Many body theory, quantum phase transition, entanglement
in quantum condensed matter systems.
COMPUTATION
I use a lot of computation in my research. I use SAGE, Python
and other Python friends like Scipy regularly.
