Under Construction!.
There is only one thing which I adore, and that is Carnatic Classical Music. It is among one of the oldest traditions of music. It is highly
developed, scientific, but very flexible too. It gives the performing artist immense freedom in innovation, to improvise even
when sticking on to the guiding rules to be followed while performing. It has a highly scientific system of deriving and classifying
ragas, and a proper system of how to begin learining and how to teach. It helps in developing positive thoughts and calm your mind.
The use of Gamakams make Carnatic Music Unique.
I listen ocationaly to Hindustani Music also (North Indian Classical Music). It has many things in common with carnatic music. One noted difference is the gamakams.
I do appreciate selected western classical and other peices of music.
