ICRC 2005 ANNOUNCEMENT OF A PRE-CONFERENCE MEETING

ANNOUNCEMENT

Satellite Meeting on Neutrino Physics
August 1-2, 2005; Mumbai

A satellite meeting on "Physics with Atmospheric Neutrinos and Neutrinos from Muon Storage Rings" was held at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, during August 1-2, just before the 29th International Cosmic Ray Conference at Pune, August 3-10, 2005. The following topics were covered in this meeting:

(a) Physics with atmospheric neutrinos
(b) Physics with neutrinos from muon storage rings
(c) Detector choices
(d) Neutrino generators

The meeting was organized jointly by the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai (IITB) and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai (TIFR) under the sponsorship of the India-based Neutrino Observatory Study Group with funding from the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India.
