I am a Research Associate in the Computational Epigraphy Lab(CEL) of The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai, working in the group of Prof. Sitabhra Sinha.
I have been formally trained in Bioinformatics (in which I have M.Sc. degree) and have an abiding interest in Data Science. My Ph.D. dissertation focuses on developing computational tools that can aid in the eventual decipherment of Indus Valley inscriptions by identifying statistically significant regularities and inferring the underlying syntactic structure of the inscriptions.
