dc.description.abstract	This report concentrates entirely on the concept of pathos graphs of a graph. The emphasis of the work has been on the graph theoretic properties of these special kinds of graphs. Various characterizations and other results discussed here pervade a large part of the graph theory. In most of the cases the author has restricted the discussion to pathos graphs of a tree. The work has been divided into six papers of which the first three papers deal with pathos graphs (in particular pathos graphs of a tree) and the last three deal with point pathos graph (in particular point pathos graphs of a tree) the relation between pathos graphs and point pathos graphs has been also established.	en_US
