Abstract: This report comprises of lectures in two parts, Part I on 'Nuclear Models' by K. Srinivasa Rao and Part II on 'Nuclear Matter' by R. Sridhar. Part I has six lectures on Nuclear Models. Lecture I classifies the Nuclear Models. The Liquid Drop Model, The Shell Model, The Optical Model, The Unified Model are described in the next consecutive lectures, the Nuclear Reactions are explained in the last chapter of Part I. Part II contains eight lectures starting with introduction. 'Time independent Perturbation methods' and 'Time dependent Perturbation methods' are discussed in second and third lectures respectively. Lecture IV deals with the Second Quantized version of the Many-Body Problem. Feynman-Like Graph Analysis of Time Dependent Perturbation Theory is dealt with in Lecture V. The Hartree-Fock Method and the Bruecker Theory are discussed in the next consecutive lectures. Lecture VIII speaks about Moszkowski and Scott Separation Method.
