Abstract: These lectures were delivered by the Visiting Scientist A. Fujii, a CSIR Visitor, from Department of Physics, School of Science and Technology, Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan. Notes prepared by T.S. Santhanam, Matscience. Elementary Particles react and transform into one another in many ways. These particle interactions are of three distinct classes, Strong, Electromagnetic and Weak Interactions, and Characterized by the square of a phenomenological effective coupling constant, suitably made dimensionless of the order of magnitude 1, (10)^-2, (10)^-10 respectively. Particle's('Short' or 'Long') Decay Reaction with electromagnetic interactions are discussed and illustrated with examples of Parity non-conservation in the decay Reaction', like Theta-Tau Puzzle, and Classical Wu-Ambler Experiment. Kinematics, Fermi Dynamics, Nucleon Form Factors, are discussed in different chapters. Dirac equation, Coupling constant in Muon Decay, and Coupling constant in Nucleon Beta Decay are detailed in Appendix 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
