Problems and Solutions

The Mathematics Newsletter of the Ramanujan Mathematical society will henceforth feature a Problems and Solutions section in each issue. We invite you to submit original and interesting mathematical problems for solution by the readers of the Newsletter.

Proposed problems with solutions should be sent to problems@imsc.res.in.
Proposed problems should be original and not be under submission to any other journal or publication.
Proposed problems with solutions should be submitted before 28th February, 31st May, 31st August, and 30th November for March, June, September and December issues.
Selected problems will be published in the Mathematics Newsletter starting March 2012. The solution to each problem will be published in the following issue.
A cash prize of Rs. 500 will be awarded to those whose problems are selected for publication in the Newsletter.
