Create a sub-directory (ex. homepage) in home directory on desktop.

Use your favourate editor like vi, emacs or html editor bluefish to create/edit your site.

use the following command to transfer web site to server.

rsync -avz $HOME/homepage/. <username>@people.imsc.res.in:public_html/.
