Quiver representations, exceptional sequences, and noncrossing partitions
Henning Krause
University of Bielefeld
It is a classical problem to determine the linear representations of a
finite quiver. This is closely related to the study of root systems. The
first half of my talk provides a survey; the second half is devoted to the
role of exceptional sequences and a recent result of Ingalls and Thomas. So
I'll explain how noncrossing partitions can be used to classify such
sequences.
